The China Global Entrepreneurship Conference (CGEC) is the first gathering of Chinese business and financial leaders, government decision makers and global entrepreneurs to discuss and explore how these entrepreneurs can quickly start and grow new businesses in both the China and global market. These leaders will engage attendees in roundtable meetings to personally review their projects, plans or concepts, and offer investment and partnership solutions aimed at creating new, successful businesses quickly.

These leaders will also participate in panel discussions to share their knowledge and experience on a variety of topics vital to successful entrepreneurship in the global market.

The conference will include:
- Keynote speeches and presentations (delivered in, or translated to, English) on:
- Starting businesses and new venture in China

Mr. Zhu Shanlu has been a Secretary of the Party Commission of Haidian District
, Beijing, a member of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal Government, and a Vice-Mayor of the Beijing Municipal Government in charge of technology and education.

During his many years in Beijing leadership, Mr. Zhu created and developed Zhongguancun, a high-technology district in Beijing that is now listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and has come to represent the new, innovative face of Chinese industry. Today Zhongguancun is home to more than 12,000 hi-tech enterprises and employs half a million technicians.

In 2008 Mr. Zhu was promoted to the position of Party Secretary of Nanjing city. His great experience with both education and technology has enabled him to utilize the city’s resources, and the central government’s strong support to make Nanjing a beacon of progress, prosperity, and development.
