"Hui Ge is Shanghai native photographer who has a true talent for capturing the beauty of nature with his lens. Though his camera flowers, trees and even grass become alive and appear to be dancing, singing and even telling us how beautiful our life is. His art work will be on display during the event, providing an oasis of calm and beauty."
Mathias was born in France in 1969, he spent his youth in French Guadeloupe among the Caribbean islands. Probably this developed a sense of nature, freedom and space that shows in his landscapes photos now.
He have started photography about 20 years ago but got really into it 15 years ago with the purchase of his first SLR camera. Focusing firstly on travel photography, vast landscapes of Western USA, Polynesia have been published in France, Germany, Slovenia. He focused on Iceland for a year in 2000 as the national airline company hired him to capture the beauty of their country.
His personal works focus on graphic photography, portraits, street life, minimum set up, natural environment. The beauty lies in details and in the eyes of the beholder or better said in the camera of the photographer.
We plan to organize a weekend outing in Oct. and will pick up a few places/ destination. All the guests are welcome to vote and we will decide where and when to go for the weekend outing. Any recommendation are welcome.
