About Creek Art:

Creek Art is housed in an old blue warehouse of 7 floors, located in a back alley. The building has a history of 105 years, having been built under orders from Li Hongzhang, a famous minister in the Qing Dynasty, and now the old building has been given a rebirth as an exciting home for contemporary art. Creek Art has created an casual, elegant space by integrating the surroundings of Suzhou Creek, the historical building and an exciting agenda as an art center.

On the second and third floors are modern art exhibitions of domestic and overseas artists, whilst the fourth and fifth floors are combination spaces, where art activities such as seminars, screenings and music concerts are hosted. The floor also serves as venue for press conferences and private parties. The top floor also features the Creek Kitchen, a Western style restaurant, and a stylish art salon.

Creek Kitchen is located on the fifth floor of the Creek Art Center. The menue features mediterranean influenced classics such as Spanish Seafood Rice, Gnocchi al Pesto.

The venue itself is worth a trip: the former flour factory has been re-desinged in modern loft-style, the restaurant providing an excellent view on the Suzhou River. Please have a close look on the map.
