About the Artist:

Yeli first made her mark as a freelance stylist in international campaigns with world-renowned directors. By reputation she is China's most innovative and celebrated collaborator in commercials and fashion.

She has won the prestigious Best Fashion Award at Perspective 2008 [40 under 40] Asia Designer Award.

Far more than merely a stylist, she's also a designer, art director and now multi-media artist. She inhabits these roles interchangeably but there is a visual wit, originality and quirkiness that underlie all her work. Her preoccupation with her native Shanghai is apparent when she oscillates between various forms of disciplines and through the variety of platforms that her work can be seen in, be it art exhibition, film or print.
