| Description |
Technical Director Responsibilities:-Manage the programmer team, the R&D team, the IT team, and the technical artist/animator team.-Select, analyze and choose the technologies used in the studio.-Recruit and train new programmers, IT, and technical artists/animators.-Manage priorities, establish priorities.-Effectively produce codes for games. -Promotes and coordinates technical knowledge harvesting within the organization.-Tracks and identifies new opportunities to improve our methodology and training offerings.-Enforces standard policies and procedures. Requirements:-Degree holder or above, major in computer science or equivalent.-Strong computer science background.-At least five years game engine programming experience.-Extensive knowledge of all areas of game technologies including 3D graphics, animation, collision, physics, 3D sound, game code, AI, network, game production pipeline and tools, etc.-Proficient in C, C++.-At least two years tech-team management experience.-Ability to think and act strategically.-Have shipped games on console (preferred next gen) excellent management skills.-Excellent oral and written English.-Excellent working attitude, excellent self-learning and problem solving ability.-Excellent teamwork and communication skills.-A passion for creating and playing games.
