Title: Multi Modal Head
Report to: General Manager
Responsibility: 1. PNL responsibility - Implement multi-modal business strategy in line with short and long term objectives/targets and implementation. - Cost control to ensure cost leadership and cost effectiveness. - Responsible for all regional Multi-modal offices and branches to ensure all their business targets are met. - Evaluate and analyze the performance of regional Multi-modal offices and provide suggestion on how to improve their performances. - Arrange and allocate resources to make sure maximum of the output of each branch, in short & long terms. 2. Business Partners Relationship Management - Establish and maintain constructive relationship with Railway Bureau at all levels. - Establish and maintain superior relations with local carriers, subcontracts, operators, and other agents for effective acquisition of Multi Modal business. - Pursue synergies with the other company business departments internally and MLOG etc externally and sell our combined capabilities. - Keep superior partnership with targeted customers and proactively probe customers' needs and wants while providing tailor-made solution to them. - Actively seek solutions to improve customer satisfaction. - Quickly response customers' requirement and timely provide solutions. - Good relationship with Railway Bureaus and CRCTC at all level. 3. Multi-modal Business development - Aggressively target and sell Multi Model products and service for maximum profit for the company. - Actively search new chances for increasing top-line of the company - Ensure that all potential target customers are aggressively canvassed on a regular and multi-level basis. Keeping sales records of such regular and multi-level canvassing. - Ensure that all Multi Modal revenue/volume budgets are met and exceeded. 4. Operation /process excellence - To review, assess and supervise to implement SOP of Rail operations, ensure process excellence and services delivery - To take lead of system development and implementation for Rail business - To supervise and support clusters/branches in claims handling, emergencies responses in day-to-day operations - System such as TMS, CRM management and continuous improvement. - To ensure all the business transactions are in compliance with FIN policies and procedure. 5. Monthly reporting - Collect and analyze business information and financial data to identify looming problems and find way out. - Ensure that monthly commercial reporting / and other periodic reporting are done in line with guidelines of General Manager of the company, corporate standards and policies. - Establish and follow-up on budgets and estimates. 6. Team management and people development - Periodically review internal talent together with MCNTMTHRD to identify the high-fliers as well as their gaps in terms of skill sets and come up with development and succession plan and career path for them. - Conduct performance appraisals, on-job-training and coach for staff to ensure their growth in the company - Positively convey messages to staff complying with the company corporate culture& core values and motive their morale through various effective channels.
